An independent directory of higher education institutions in the Kyrgyz Republic, built for prospective domestic and international students.
Study in Kyrgyzstan brings together the 54 higher education institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, their faculties and degree programs in one searchable place, with tools to compare universities, check ORT grant thresholds, track admission deadlines and estimate living costs.
Study in Kyrgyzstan is not an official government service and is not affiliated with any university. Admission decisions, tuition fees and quotas are set by each institution.
Study in Kyrgyzstan is built and maintained by Abdulrahman Abojmei, Managing Director at EduEngage, with more than ten years in higher education marketing, international student recruitment and EdTech product management across Europe, MENA and Central Asia.
Institution, faculty and program records are sourced from the public EduGate portal of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic. Student reviews are submitted by visitors, and housing and cost-of-living figures are indicative estimates.
Figures can change between admission cycles. Always confirm fees, deadlines and requirements directly with the university before you apply.
The current dataset was exported on . It is also available as open data for research and AI assistants: universities.json, programs.json and a plain-text summary in llms.txt. Reuse is welcome with attribution to Study in Kyrgyzstan and EduGate.
