Plain-language summary of what this site stores and sends.
You can use every part of Study in Kyrgyzstan without an account. Cookies are set only by the analytics tools described below.
These preferences are kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to our server:
Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
We use Google Tag Manager, which loads Google Analytics and similar measurement tools. They set cookies and receive your IP address, browser and device details and the pages you visit, so we can see how the site is used and improve it. When you send an inquiry we record that one was sent, with the university and program, but never your name, email or phone number.
In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies are set only after you choose Accept in the cookie banner; elsewhere they are on by default. Wherever you are, you can accept or reject them at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. The site works fully without these cookies.
When you send an admissions inquiry, the details you enter — name, email, phone, and optionally nationality, program, degree level and message — are stored on our server and reviewed by the Study in Kyrgyzstan admissions desk so your inquiry can be followed up with the university you chose. They are used only for that purpose.
We email you a confirmation of your inquiry. The admissions desk may forward it, with your contact details, to the admissions office of the university you chose, which then replies to you directly. To stop spam we keep a keyed hash of the network address the inquiry came from, never the address itself.
If you sign up for deadline reminders, we keep your email address, the groups you picked and your page language, and use them only to email you before admission deadlines close. Nothing is sent until you confirm from the email we send you. Every reminder has a one-click unsubscribe. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 7 days, and your address is deleted 30 days after you unsubscribe.
Reviews are public. Everything you enter in the review form, including the display name you choose, is shown on the reviews page. Don't include contact details or other personal information you don't want published.
